Celebrate You Thinlits and Brusho

I am using some new products today and one of them is called Brusho.  These fun super colorful Brusho color crystals will be available in the new Ocassions catalog on January 3, 2018.

I spritzed water on Shimmery White card stock and then sprinkled on 3 colors of the Brusho.  To get the color crystals to react some more, I sprayed a bit more water.  After it dried, I used the new Celebrate You Thinlits in the Sale-A-Bration catalog to die the sentiment.  I kept the little negative pieces form the Shimmery White to put back into the words to create an inlaid die cut.  The more I play around with Brusho the more fun I have!

Happy Stampin',

Swirly Scribbles - snowman

I used the Swirly Scribbles Framelits dies again, but made a snowman this time.  I used all 3 circles included in the die set to build my snowman.....now I'm singing that song from Frozen.  The hat and carrot nose is from Karen Burniston's Snowman die set.

Swirly Scribbles - wreath

I used the Swirly Scribbles Framelits to create a wreath in this quick card.  I stamped a sentiment using Delightful Dozen and used a corner rounder, added a few sprigs and a bow - viola.

Tree Pop Up

I found a stack of retired DSP from Stampin' Up! and I thought it would make a beautiful winter Christmas card.  Living in Florida will not give me a white Christmas.....but on paper I can have just that!  I used Karen Burniston's Tree Pop Up and Nature Edges to die cut my white pieces.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! called Season Like Christmas.
I followed the same look as the front of my card but added a snowman to the bump instead of the tree.  I added some Glitter Dots for my snowman's coal eyes, mouth and buttons.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Sleigh Pop Up

I found some embellishments and pattern papers in my stash and put together a quick Christmas card using Karen Burniston's Sleigh Pop Up.  I used Nature Edges to make a snowy edge, added a ribbon and embelishments and the front is complete.

I added a tree embellishment in the sleigh, stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up!'s Season Like Christmas and the inside is done too!  The mechanism for the sleigh is sandwiched between the two sleighs (makes it easy to add panels to the top and bottom of the card).

Karen Burniston's Paper Pros Challenge - Let's Twist Again

Let's twist again said Frances Bryne to the Paper Pros.  The Pros are to use any Twist Pop Up to create our cards today.  I found an old stamp set and thought of a different round man other than Santa.....Frosty.
I got the idea of a melting snowman when my son was playing with his Melting Snowman" and we all know snow and Florida don't go together.
When you open the card fully you can see the melting snowman and the die cut greeting.  This is a super fun Floridian holiday card!  To make the melting snowman, I used the largest circle from Snowman Twist Circle Pop Up and just hand cut around the edges in a scallop-like pattern.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Past Sketches

The Crazy 4 Challenges team are choosing a sketch from all of this years' previous sketches.  I was gifted this adorable patterned paper and my card started from there.
I used Karen Burniston's new Tag Book Pop Up for my base card.  I added a little gingerbread man using Winter Charms - oh so cute!  The sentiment is a Stampin' Up! stamp set called Suite Seasons and it's stamped onto a decorator die from the Tag Book.
It's so easy to decorate the Tag Book Pop Up because there are so many decorator dies included.  I have several areas to write a little note or a little photo could even be placed there.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel

Crazy 4 Challenges - Color Your Day!

The Crazy 4 Challenges team are coloring today.  The team was challenged to color an image.  I was gifted this pretty patterned paper and I thought it would be the perfect background for Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Blooms.  I stamped the image onto Whisper White cardstock and colored it using Watercolor Pencils and an Aquapainter.  The sentiment was stamped onto a die cut from Karen Burniston called Katherine Label.
For the inside, I decided to make a pop up using Cupcake Pop Up.  The flower is fairly large and covers up most of the cupcake and being that I used patterned paper it also blends into the background nicely.  I used the bottom bump for a place to put an inside sentiment.
Happy Stampin',
Raquel
